Payment Terms

Prices are shown before you buy, in your local currency where supported, and may include applicable taxes. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method. Card details are handled by our payment processor; Sonnely does not store full card numbers.

• Subscriptions (such as premium AI companions) renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the current period.
• If a renewal price changes, we’ll let you know in advance.

Some book clubs and live events are paid and are run by creators. When you join, you’re purchasing access to that experience as described by the host. Creators are bound by our Creator Terms, and Sonnely facilitates the payment between you and the host.

We want purchases on Sonnely to feel fair. Our general approach:

• Subscriptions are generally non-refundable for the current period, but you can cancel to avoid future charges.
• If a paid event is canceled or a host materially fails to deliver, you may be eligible for a refund.
• Where required by law, you keep any statutory cancellation or refund rights regardless of the above.

To request a refund or report an issue, contact us through the Support page and we’ll review it.

If a payment fails, we may retry it or pause paid features until it’s resolved. If you dispute a charge with your bank, we may suspend related access while we look into it. Please reach out to us first — we can usually sort things out faster than a chargeback.

We may update these Payment Terms and our pricing over time. Changes won’t affect purchases you’ve already made, and we’ll give notice of meaningful changes to ongoing subscriptions.
